"Absolutely garbage support experience"
Absolutely garbage support experience. Simple requests like canceling an order due to the store being out of items is difficult. Oh the store can't cancel, you have to cancel. Ok but if I cancel I get no refund because the dasher is already there. But then if I message support they can't cancel either. Then the dasher messages me to cancel. And then support has to call the dasher.
UberEats would have canceled the order and given a $5 oopsies credit to their premium subscribers. Y'all didn't even say sorry about a system that obviously sucks.
Another issue, a restaurant forgot sauce that they don't charge for. This sauce is integral to the meal. UberEats gives $5 for that mistake EVERY TIME. Y'all said oops and displayed a buggy support screen. Clearly your 3 month trial doesn't mean squat compared to what Uber offers. Overprice yes, but at least Uber knows how to do the job they advertise.

I could give zero stars there would be an option. Worst worst customer service ever they do not take their customers concerns seriously I ordered food which was burnt literally sent them photos and they said unfortunately we cannot give any compensation. That was very funny to me at all, the food just went to waste, which was sad. Please don’t use DoorDash your better food delivery services like Uber and skip the dishes.

Order clearly delivered to wrong home. I notified on the app, called the restaurant, called DD. I made a report, was told they couldn't offer refund, it would be expedited, whatever that means. I called everyday, rep was nice, but said they would expedite. Meanwhile, I was getting emails they were refusing to refund. Called bank got refunded, sent bank pic, receipts of calls and forwarded all email correspondence.

"DO NOT USE DOORDASH"
DO NOT USE DOORDASH! Doordash is inconsistent and doesn't gaf about just taking your money. Sometimes the drivers know what they're doing but 90% of the time it's like trying to guide an infant through dizzy castle. It's extremely annoying that there is no protocol for the drivers or sufficient customer support when the drivers can't do their job. My last driver I spent 45 min on the phone with them trying to explain where I am. They proceeded to ask me to meet them at a DIFFERENT ADDRESS (I wouldn't use doordash if I wanted/could leave my home) then had the audacity to ask for extra money for a tip when he didn't even deliver my food because he couldn't find my address.

Reading these reviews has me laughing. Customers for these delivery apps are overwhelmingly stupid, and nearly all the issues they report are their own fault, or the fault of the restaurant, not DD or the driver.
There are extremely rare occasions a driver will make off with your food, but that is maybe 1 in a million on DD, because they don't have open invitations like Uber... and in those situations, DD will refund you within minutes.
Most of the times food was not delivered is because the customer failed to answer the phone, and did not provide a way into their complex or gave an entirely wrong address... Customers, PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR PHONE WHEN YOU'RE EXPECTING A DELIVERY.

I didn't get my order. Dasher took a picture of an empty porch and posted it. Door Dash would not take responsibility after I asked for escalation and appeal. I will no longer use Door Dash. Terrible company, terrible experience. Hope they hemorrhage users to UberEats, which has great service.

"Food never arrived and No refund"
Dasher never arrived with food and they wont give me a refund. I tried calling customer service and she said they're not allowed to go in and contact the dashers after marked complete and then told me I had to wait 72 hours for a resolution and I still may not get a refund.

How hard is it for the drivers to follow directions on a map?! 2 times in a row they delivered it to the wrong address. The picture for the second order has my food from the first in it. It's not even in the right neighborhood!!!!! Then you call or text them and they don't answer. Worst service ever! Then customer service doesn't want to give you your money back for their mess up!

Customer support is nonexistent. They don't listen can never solve problems they just put you on hold then say they're going to escalate the issue and someone will email you and guess what you never get an email. When you call back the person acts like this is the first time you've called so you have to explain the situation again just to be put on hold and told that the issue must be escalated and that you'll receive an email that never comes. They should really just get rid of support and save the money to fix all the glitches in the app.
$#*! in a can doordash. If you think your going to get away with hidden fees and uping your prices double what the actual store charges your going to lose alot of customers. Enough said. I will never support this scam of a business ever again.

Hang out outside to watch your dasher take a picture of your food and leave with it, before confronting them. Typically you can still get your food, unless they ask for proof that your drivers license is your license. Or they scream rape. Door dash is a last ditch effort, good luck and be safe to all ordering from door dash. My lesson learned was always have a witness and bring a gun.
"The drive after picking up my food… at Steak and Shake"
The drive after picking up my food stayed at the pickup location waiting for a second order while my food got cold. Then the driver dropped off there food and proceeded to drive past my street and taking the long way around, and extra 20 to thirty minutes while my food got colder. I texted the driver and told him not to bother dropping off the food because it was now ruined and called customer service (NOT) demanding a refund. The driver dropped off the food anyway because that is Doordash policy so DoorDash can claim they will not fund the money. They provided a credit which last time evaporated into thin air, excepting the same this time. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told it takes 3 hours before the manager would be available to speak to me. You read this right 3 hours. That is NOT customer service. I don't expect a call back this is just a BS game they are playing hoping I will drop the issue. When rating customer service on the phone, it offered an option 1 if they(Customer Service ) resolved the issue 2 they they did not. The problem is their auto system does not accept option 2. Doordash doesn't want to take responsible for the drivers that are incompetent with very poor service they provide. I find them to be disreputable dishonest, and not interested in the customer but rather focusing on the money. Door Dash is not service worth the extra high fee they charger.
